At Joyce Designs, we offer flexible delivery options for your purchases, including in-store pickup and home delivery. Please review our shipping policies below:
1. In-Store Pickup
Availability
All customers have the option to pick up their orders at our physical store free of charge.
Pickup Timeframe
Orders will be available for pickup within 1 to 3 business days after purchase confirmation. Customers will receive a notification via email, WhatsApp, or phone call when their order is ready for collection.
Pickup Requirements
To collect an order, the customer must present:
- Proof of purchase (digital or printed).
- A valid government-issued ID (national ID card or passport).
If someone else is picking up the order on behalf of the customer, they must present:
- A signed authorization letter from the purchaser.
- A copy of the purchaser’s identification.
Pickup Deadline
Customers have 1 to 3 business days to collect their order after being notified that it is ready. If the order is not collected within this timeframe, we reserve the right to cancel the order and process a refund in accordance with our Refund Policy.
2. Home Delivery
Service Availability
We offer home delivery services within Santo Domingo, selected areas throughout the Dominican Republic, and internationally. Shipping costs vary depending on the customer’s location and the size and weight of the order.
2.1 Shipping Costs
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout before the customer confirms the order.
For locations outside urban areas or in rural regions, shipping costs will be determined based on distance and package size.
2.2 Delivery Timeframes
- Local orders will typically be delivered within 1 to 3 business days.
- Orders shipped to other regions within the Dominican Republic may take 3 to 7 business days, depending on the destination.
- During periods of high demand, delivery times may be affected. In such cases, customers will be informed of the estimated delivery timeframe at the time of purchase.
2.3 Delivery Conditions
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Joyce Designs is not responsible for delays or delivery issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
The customer, or an authorized recipient, must be available at the delivery address to receive the order. If delivery cannot be completed on the first attempt, a second delivery attempt may be scheduled and may incur an additional fee.
3. Special Shipping Conditions
Deliveries to Remote Areas
Deliveries to remote locations, rural areas, or hard-to-access neighborhoods may require additional transit time. We reserve the right to decline deliveries to certain locations due to logistical limitations. In such cases, customers will be notified and alternative arrangements, such as pickup at an agreed-upon location, may be offered.
Address Changes
If a customer needs to change the delivery address after placing an order, they must notify us as soon as possible. Address changes may result in delivery delays and, in some cases, additional charges.
4. Failed Delivery Policy
If an order cannot be delivered because the customer is unavailable or no authorized recipient is present at the delivery address, a second delivery attempt will be made and may be subject to an additional fee.
If the second delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the customer will be required to either collect the order from our store or cover the costs of a new shipment.
5. Delivery Times and Notifications
All delivery timeframes are estimates and may vary due to factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, carrier availability, transportation delays, or unforeseen events.
We will keep customers informed of their order status through email, phone, or other available communication methods.
6. Delivery Responsibility
We are committed to delivering products in good condition and within the agreed timeframe. However, once the product has been delivered to the address provided by the customer, responsibility for the product transfers to the customer.
Joyce Designs shall not be liable for any damage, loss, or theft that occurs after successful delivery has been completed.
