Return Policy

At Joyce Designs, we are committed to offering high-quality products and providing service that meets our customers’ expectations. To ensure a satisfactory shopping experience, we have developed the following Returns, Refunds, and Cancellations Policy in accordance with the laws of the Dominican Republic, particularly the General Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 358-05).

1. Returns

1.1 Return Period

Customers have a period of twenty-four (24) hours from the date of receipt of the product to request the return of any item, provided that it remains in its original condition, unused, and with all original tags and packaging intact.

1.2 Excluded Products

Returns will not be accepted for underwear, swimwear, personalized products, embroidered items, or products altered at the customer’s request, unless they present manufacturing defects.

1.3 Return Conditions

  • The customer must provide the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • The item must be in perfect condition, showing no signs of use or wear.
  • Returns may only be made at our physical store or through our home pickup service, which may incur an additional fee that will be communicated to the customer in advance.

2. Refunds

2.1 Refund Method

Refunds will be issued through the same payment method used at the time of purchase. Alternatively, if the customer prefers, they may choose to receive store credit for future purchases.

2.2 Refund Processing Time

Once the return has been approved, the refund will be processed within 7 to 10 business days, depending on the original payment method.

2.3 Shipping Costs

In cases where the product is returned for reasons other than manufacturing defects, shipping costs will not be refunded. If the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product, shipping costs will be refunded.

3. Cancellations

3.1 In-Store Order Cancellations

  • Orders placed in-store may be canceled without penalty before the packaging process has been completed. Once the order has been packed or prepared for shipment, the return policy will apply.
  • Personalized orders are not eligible for refunds or cancellations unless they have manufacturing defects.

3.2 Home Delivery Order Cancellations

If a customer wishes to cancel an order scheduled for home delivery, the cancellation must be requested before the product has been dispatched. If the order has already been shipped, the customer may return it in accordance with the conditions of our return policy.

3.3 Personalized Products

If the item is personalized, it will not be eligible for return or refund unless it has a manufacturing defect.

3.4 Post-Shipment Cancellations

In the event of cancellations requested after the order has been shipped, shipping costs will not be refundable.

3.5 Personalized or Altered Orders

Cancellations will not be accepted for personalized, embroidered, or customer-modified products once production or customization work has begun.

4. Manufacturing Defect Claims

If a product presents a manufacturing defect, the customer is entitled to a free repair, product replacement, or full refund, as applicable. The customer must notify us of the defect within three (3) calendar days of purchase and provide proof of purchase.
